Looking up an Item

To look up an item using CPMobile Item Lookup:

  1. Tap ClosedItem Lookup on the main menu.

  2. If your CPMobile device is equipped with a barcode scanner, scan the item's barcode.

Tap the Search bar (or the button), enter the Item number, vendor item number, or part of the item's Description, and then tap the item you are looking for.

- or -

Tap the item in your list of Favorite Items.

If the item is not found in your CPMobile device's local cache, tap Search server... to search the NCR Counterpoint database on your server for the item.

  1. Review the ClosedItem details for the item.

You can use the available ClosedItem actions to add the item to your favorites list or add the item to a ticket.

You can also view inventory quantities for the item at each of your locations, as well as item notes, item images, and substitute items.

  1. On an iPod Touch or iPhone, tap the ClosedItems button to return to the Items screen.
